The chain sling is made of steel chain with a protective anti-corrosion coating. It is used with safety belts when performing work where damage to the sling on the sharp edges of buildings is possible, as well as when performing fire work (electric welding, gas welding), where it is necessary to use a sling made of refractory material.
The shock absorber is used on slings with belts having shoulder and hip straps. Provides a reduction in dynamic loads on a person when falling from a height. The minimum mounting height of the installer is 4 meters.
The shock absorber opening start force is not less than 1960 N or 200 kgf (the shock absorber is structurally designed in such a way that when a force exceeds the start shock absorber opening force, it opens and the textile “damping absorber” breaks).
- The breaking force of a fully opened shock absorber is not less than 15 kN.
- Length in the open state (after opening the shock absorber) - 1580 ± 50 mm.
- Braking force when a load of 100 kg falls - no more than 3925 N (400 kgf).
This product is part of a fall arrest personal protective equipment and must be used in conjunction with a complete fall arrest system.
