Very handy as a descender carabiner or for pulling blocks. Recommended for industrial mountaineering and rescue work.

Maximum loads: longitudinal 30 kN, transverse - 9 kN, with open latch - 8 kN.

Screw lock carabiners are the ideal solution when the carabiner needs to be opened several times during the working day, as the lock can be opened by pressing it at the connection point, then the lock can be manually locked under the weight of the device. Carabiners must only be used with a closed clutch. With an open clutch, the strength of the carbine is significantly reduced.
The carabiner has the highest strength when loaded along the axis, provided that the latch is closed. Loading along any other direction reduces its strength.
