Gloves for general protection, coverage type: PVC point
Work gloves are an indispensable attribute of personal protection used in various fields of professional activity.
Depending on the type of work and individual characteristics, work gloves are made from various materials and a certain type of coating.
Types of coatings for work gloves:
Uncoated is a classic type of protective gloves that provide protection for hands from minor mechanical stress and general industrial pollution. Recommended for use in dry working conditions.
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is the most common type of coating. Possesses protective properties against mechanical damage. Distinguish between full and spot PVC pouring.
Gloves with a full PVC coating are resistant to acids and alkalis and can be handled with liquids. PVC point provides protection of the working surface from abrasion, has good adhesion properties, does not protect against moisture.
PVC coated gloves are widely used in construction, assembly, handling and household applications.
Latex - Provides protection against many chemically active substances and liquids.
Latex coated gloves provide safe handling of alcohol, acetone, acids and alkalis. The material is flexible and elastic, has good adhesion properties. It is recommended to avoid contact with hydrocarbons and aromatic solvents. Natural rubber latex can cause allergic reactions.
Nitrile - provides a high degree of protection against mechanical damage. Resistant to oils, fats, silicates and acids. Interaction with acetate solvents should be limited.
Polyurethane - has high elasticity and increased sensitivity. Gloves with polyurethane coating are resistant to punctures and tears, oils and fats derived from hydrocarbons. It is not recommended to use gloves at elevated temperatures and to alkalis.
